Related Product Information for TAF1L recombinant protein
Short Description: The peptide corresponding to amino acids 1402-1521 that contains the bromodomain sequences of TAF1L (accession number NP_722516.1) was expressed in E Coli and contains an N-terminal His-tag and C-terminal DYKDDDDK tag with an observed molecular weight of 20.08 kDa. TAF1 RNA polymerase II, TATA box binding protein (TBP)-associated factor, 210 kDa-like (TAF1L), is homologous to TAF1 and contains bromodomains for interaction with other proteins. The bromodomain functions as a 'reader' of epigenetic histone marks and regulates chromatin structure and gene expression by linking associated proteins to the recognized acetylated nucleosomal targets. TAF1L is specifically expressed in the testis in male germ cells. It may act as a functional substitute for TAF1 during male meiosis when sex chromosomes are transcriptionally silenced. Recombinant TAF1L (1402-1521) can be used in binding assays and inhibitor screening.

Product Notes

The TAF1L taf1l (Catalog #AAA388165) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TAF1L, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
