Related Product Information for TNFB active protein
Human active form TNFB (35-205) was expressed in E Coli cells and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. The protein accession number is AAH34729.1.
TNFB is a member of the tumor necrosis factor cytokine family that is primarily expressed on lymphocytes that control lipid metabolism. TNFB is highly inducible, secreted, and forms heterotrimers with lymphotoxin-beta which anchor lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface. TNF-beta acts as a novel therapeutic route for the treatment of dyslipidemia (1). The presence of TNFB accelerates the initiation of immune responses and protects the host from larger viral challenges (2).

Product Notes

The TNFB (Catalog #AAA515804) is an Active Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TNFB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFB for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TNFB, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
