Tryptophan Hydroxylase Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TPH1 antibody

Anti-Tryptophan Hydroxylase

Applications
Dot Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot
Purity
Affinity Purified Sheep polyclonal antibody.
Synonyms
Tryptophan Hydroxylase; Polyclonal Antibody; Anti-Tryptophan Hydroxylase; anti-TPH1 antibody
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Clonality
Polyclonal
Specificity
Specific for the ~55k TPH protein in Western blots of human dorsal Raphe nucleus. Immunolabeling has been demonstrated in rat brain tissues. Based upon the relatively high degree of homology of tryptophan hydroxylase, the antibodies should cross-react with other mammalian species.
Purity/Purification
Affinity Purified Sheep polyclonal antibody.
Form/Format
100 ul in 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 100 ug per ml BSA and 5O% glycerol. Adequate amount of material to conduct 1O-mini Western blots.
Sequence Length
444
Applicable Applications for anti-TPH1 antibody
Dot blots (DB) Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western blots (WB).
Application Notes
DB: 1:1000
IHC: 1:1000
WB: 1:1000

Quality Control Tests: Western blots performed on each lot.
Preparation and Storage
Ships on blue ice. For long term storage -80°C is recommended, but shorter term storage at -20°C is also acceptable as aliquots may be taken without freeze/thawing due to the presence of 50% glycerol. Stock solutions are stable for a minimum of 1 year at -20°C.

Product Notes

The TPH1 tph1 (Catalog #AAA502127) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Tryptophan Hydroxylase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Dot blots (DB) Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Western blots (WB). DB: 1:1000 IHC: 1:1000 WB: 1:1000 Quality Control Tests: Western blots performed on each lot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TPH1 tph1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tryptophan Hydroxylase, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
