GABA Receptor A, alpha 1 (Gamma-aminobutyric Acid Receptor Type A alpha 1 Subunit, GABRA1)
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Dilution: Western Blot: 1:10,000 detects the GABA Receptor A, alpha1 subunit in 10ug of rat brain microsomal preparation. tissue lysate. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) donkey anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunoprecipitation: 5ul immunoprecipitates the GABA Receptor A, alpha1 subunit in rat brain microsomal preparation RIPA lysate.
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:500 detects the GABA Receptor A, alpha1 subunit in rat hippocampus tissue.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot analysis of rat brain microsomal preparation using MBS624455 at 1:10,000 dilution. IgG (HRP) Donkey anti-rabbit and chemiluminescence detection system were used for visualization. Arrow indicates the GABA Receptor A, alpha1 subunit (51kD).)
Immunoprecipitation (IP)
(Immunoprecipitation analysis: 1mg of RIPA lysate of rat brain microsomes was immunoprecipitated with 5ul of MBS624455. Arrow indicates GABAA Receptor a1 (~50kD).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemistry analysis of formalin fixed paraffin embedded rat hippocampus using MBS624455 at 1:500 dilution. Heat-induced epitope retrieval was used. Reactivity was detected using an IgG (HRP) anti-rabbit secondary antibody and DAB staining. Positive staining was observed in rat hippocampus tissue. Staining was very strong at 1:500 antibody dilution. It is recommended to perform a dilution range between 1:500 and 1:1000.)

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:500 detects the GABA Receptor A, alpha1 subunit in rat hippocampus tissue. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GABA Receptor A, alpha 1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GABA Receptor A, alpha 1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
