Related Product Information for anti-Mi-2beta antibody
Short Description: AbFlex antibodies are recombinant antibodies (rAbs) that have been generated using defined DNA sequences to produce highly specific, reproducible antibodies. Each AbFlex antibody contains a 6xHis-tag, a Biotinylation Tag for enzymatic biotin conjugation using the biotin ligase, BirA, and a sortase recognition motif (LPXTG) to attach a variety of labels directly to the antibody including fluorophores, enzymatic substrates (HRP, AP), peptides, drugs as well as solid supports. Our AbFlex Mi-2 beta (CHD4) antibody (rAb) was raised in a Mouse host. It has been validated for use in Western blot; it has been shown to react with Human samples.

Background: AbFlex antibodies are recombinant antibodies (rAbs) that have been generated using defined DNA sequences to produce highly specific, reproducible antibodies. AbFlex Mi-2 beta (CHD4) antibody was expressed as full-length IgG with mouse immunoglobulin heavy and light chains (IgG2a isotype) in mammalian 293 cells. Mi-2b (Mi-2 beta, CHD4, chromodomain helicase DNA-binding protein 4) represents the major Mi-2 isoform present in the complex Mi-2/NuRD. This complex is a multi-subunit protein complex containing both histone deacetylase and nucleosome-dependent ATPase subunits. Current models predict that this complex functions primarily in transcriptional repression. In addition to the ATPase domain, Mi-2 beta contains a chromodomain and two PHD domains. Mi-2 beta interacts with BRG-1, a component of the SWI/SNF complex, and the RET finger protein (RFP).

Uniprot Description

CHD-4: is an ATP-dependent helicase and a central component of the HDAC-containing nucleosome remodeling and histone deacetylase (NuRD) transcriptional complex. Interacts with MTA1/2, HDAC1, and RbAp46 in the NuRD complex. CHD-4 belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family of proteins. The NuRD complex, whose subunit composition varies by cell type and in response to physiologic signals, plays central roles in many processes including oncogenesis and metastasis, B cell differentiation, invasive growth of breast cancer, and maintaining the balance between the undifferentiated state and the process of differentiation in embryonic stem cells.

Product Notes

The Mi-2beta chd4 (Catalog #AAA389495) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AbFlex Mi-2 beta (CHD4) antibody (rAb) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Mi-2 beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Applications Validated: WB: 0.5-2ug/ml AbFlex recombinant antibodies are genetically derived from DNA sequences of parental hybridoma clones. For details on the parental clone. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Mi-2beta chd4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Mi-2 beta, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
