Benefits
The Quick ELISA kits, assay takes less than 1.5 hours. Detect Mouse Crp with <10pg/ml sensitivity. Format: 96-well plate with removable strips.
This is a TMB colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit with short assay time and quick experiment set up.
Principle
Mouse Crp Pre-Coated ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is a solid phase immunoassay specially designed to measure Mouse Crp with a 96-well strip plate that is pre-coated with rat monoclonal antibody specific for Crp. The detection antibody is a HRP linked goat polyclonal antibody specific for Crp. The kit contains recombinant Mouse Crp with immunogen: Expression system for standard: NS0; Immunogen sequence: H20-S225. The kit is analytically validated with ready to use reagents.

To measure Mouse Crp, add standards and samples to the wells, then add HRP linked detection antibody. Wash the wells with PBS or TBS buffer, and add TMB. TMB is substrate to HRP and will be catalyzed to produce a blue color product, which changes into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of the yellow product is linearly proportional to Mouse Crp in the sample. Read the density of the yellow product in each well using a plate reader, and benchmark the sample wells' readings against the standard curve to determine the concentration of Mouse Crp in the sample.
Assay Procedure Step 1
10000pg/ml, 5000pg/ml, 2500pg/ml, 1250pg/ml, 625pg/ml, 312.5pg/ml, 156.25pg/ml
TMB Incubation Time
15
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for 6 months, at -20 degree C for 12 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. (Shipped with wet ice.)

Related Product Information for Crp elisa kit
C Reactive Protein(CRP) is a major acute phase reactant synthesized primarily in the liver hepatocytes. It is composed of 5 identical, 21,500-molecular weight subunits. CRP mediates activities associated with preimmune nonspecific host resistance. CRP shows the strongest association with cardiovascular events. It is detectable on the surface of about 4% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes. Acute phase reactant CRP is produced in the liver.

Uniprot Description

CRP: Displays several functions associated with host defense: it promotes agglutination, bacterial capsular swelling, phagocytosis and complement fixation through its calcium-dependent binding to phosphorylcholine. Can interact with DNA and histones and may scavenge nuclear material released from damaged circulating cells. Belongs to the pentaxin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted

Cellular Component: extracellular space; growth cone; extracellular region; filopodium

Molecular Function: protein homodimerization activity; low-density lipoprotein receptor binding; metal ion binding; complement component C1q binding; low-density lipoprotein binding; cholesterol binding; calcium ion binding

Biological Process: protein polymerization; positive regulation of nitric oxide biosynthetic process; negative regulation of vasodilation; wound healing; positive regulation of superoxide release; acute-phase response; negative regulation of superoxide release; complement activation, classical pathway

Product Notes

The Mouse Crp crp (Catalog #AAA1753944) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1753944 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse Crp. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CRP/C Reactive Protein/PTX1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
