Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot|Detection of Human Kynureninase by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of human liver tissue and A549 human lung carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2ug/ml of Mouse Anti Human Kynureninase Monoclonal Antibody followed by HRP-conjugated Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody. A specific band was detected for Kynureninase at approximately 52kD. This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of NAD cofactors from tryptophan [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
KYNU: Catalyzes the cleavage of L-kynurenine (L-Kyn) and L-3- hydroxykynurenine (L-3OHKyn) into anthranilic acid (AA) and 3- hydroxyanthranilic acid (3-OHAA), respectively. Has a preference for the L-3-hydroxy form. Also has cysteine-conjugate-beta-lyase activity. Xanthurenic aciduria manifesting as massive urinary excretion of large amounts of kynurenine, 3-hydroxykynurenine and xanthurenic acid has been observed in an individual carrying a homozygous missense change in KYNU (PubMed:17334708). The urinary pattern in the patient suggests kynureninase deficiency and a block in the conversion of kynurenine and 3-hydroxykynurenine to anthranilate and 3-hydroxyanthranilate, respectively. Belongs to the kynureninase family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Kynu kynu (Catalog #AAA641672) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Kynureninase (L-kynurenine Hydrolase, KYNU) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Kynureninase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot. Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Kynu kynu for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Kynureninase, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
