Rabbit anti-Human ETO/RUNX1T1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ETO/RUNX1T1 antibody
ETO/RUNX1T1 antibody (pAb)
IP: 10ul per IP
WB: 1:500-1:2,000 dilution
Note: Many chromatin-bound proteins are not soluble in a low salt nuclear extract and fractionate to the pellet. Therefore, we recommend a High Salt/Sonication Protocol when preparing nuclear extracts for Western blot.
Western Blot (WB)
(ETO / RUNX1T1 antibody (pAb) tested by Immunoprecipitation. 10 ul of ETO / RUNX1T1 antibody was used to immunoprecipitate ETO / RUNX1T1 from 250 ug of K562 nuclear cell extract (lane 2). 10 ul of rabbit IgG was used as a negative control (lane 1). The immunoprecipitated protein was detected by Western blotting using the ETO / RUNX1T1 antibody at a dilution of 1:500.)
Western Blot (WB)
(ETO / RUNX1T1 antibody (pAb) tested by Western Blot: K-562 nuclear extract (20 ug per lane) probed with the ETO / RUNX1T1 antibody (pAb) at a dilution of 1:500.)
Background: ETO/RUNX1T1 (AML1T1, CBFA2T1, MTG8, ZMYND2) belongs to a family of evolutionarily conserved nuclear factors that act as a transcriptional corepressor. ETO/RUNX1T1 does not interact directly with DNA but is recruited by transcription factors such as PLZF, BCL6, TAL1/SCL, Gfi1and Heb recruit nuclear co-repressors such as NCoR, SIN3, and SMRT/NCoR2, which in turn interact with histone deacetylase (HDAC) to mediate transcriptional repression. ETO/RUNX1T1 contains four evolutionarily conserved functional domains called nervy homology regions (NHRs) involved in protein-protein interaction. ETO/RUNX1T1 is frequently found as a fusion partner of AML1 in acute myeloid leukemia with the t(8;21) translocation which gives rise to the AML-ETO fusion protein.

Product Notes
The ETO/RUNX1T1 (Catalog #AAA388763) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ETO/RUNX1T1 antibody (pAb) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ETO/RUNX1T1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). Applications Validated: IP: 10ul per IP WB: 1:500-1:2,000 dilution Note: Many chromatin-bound proteins are not soluble in a low salt nuclear extract and fractionate to the pellet. Therefore, we recommend a High Salt/Sonication Protocol when preparing nuclear extracts for Western blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ETO/RUNX1T1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ETO/RUNX1T1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
