Ubiquitin Specific Protease 1 (USP1) is a human deubiquitinase (DUB) that contains one of the largest catalytic domains within the USP family. USP1 plays a role in regulating cellular response to DNA damage and is also involved in the control of cell differentiation (1). USP1 regulates ubiquitination of Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA) in response to DNA damage preventing unscheduled recruitment of error-prone TLS DNA polymerases [2]. USP1 expression is deregulated in certain types of human cancer and is thus emerging as a novel target in cancer therapy (3).

Product Notes
The USP1 (Catalog #AAA517757) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "USP1, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
