Related Product Information for anti-RNA 5.8s, Ribosomal antibody
The inhibition of protein synthesis by specific anti 5.8S rRNA oligonucleotides have suggested that this RNA plays an important role in eukaryotic ribosome function, specifically ribosomal translocation. Mutations in the 5.8S rRNA can inhibit cell growth and compromise protein synthesis in vitro.

This antibody is useful for recognizing RNA epitopes on both the large and small subunit.

Product Notes

The RNA 5.8s, Ribosomal (Catalog #AAA602233) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's RNA 5.8s, Ribosomal can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence: 1:2500 Immunoprecipitation:10 ul/lysate Immunocytochemistry: Frozen, paraffin Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RNA 5.8s, Ribosomal for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RNA 5.8s, Ribosomal, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
