anti-Mouse IL-9 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-IL-9 antibody
Anti-IL-9 [D9302C12]
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow-cytometry using the Anti-IL-9 antibody D9302C12 (MBS488651). Mouse splenocytes were stimulated with PMA and Ionomycin in presence of Monensin for 4 hours. The cells were fixed using 2% PFA, permeabilized using 0.5% Triton and stained with anti-Fluorescein IgG antibody (4-4-20; isotype control, black line) or the rabbit IgG version of D9302C12 (MBS488651, blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-mouse IgG AlexaFluor 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells were analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.)
This antibody was raised by immunising Armenian hamsters with Baculovirus-expressed, recombinant murine IL-9.
Note on publication: Describes the original generation of this antibody.

Product Notes
The IL-9 il9 (Catalog #AAA488650) is an Antibody produced from Hamster (Armenian) and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-IL-9 [D9302C12] reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IL-9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking (BL), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). In vitro, this antibody has inhibitory effects on IL-9 bioactivity, and inhibits the differentiation of Th17 cells and consequent production of IL-17 (Li et al, 2010). This antibody is also able to neutralise IL-9 in vivo (Li et al, 2010). Administration of this antibody suppresses acute experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), with an observed reduction in MOG-specific Th1 and Th17 cells in the periphery and the CNS (Li et al, 2010). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-9 il9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-9, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
