Related Product Information for anti-RBM17 antibody
RBM17 (RNA Binding Motif Protein 17, also known as SPF45) is a Protein Coding gene. The RBM17 gene, located on 10p15.1, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, and mouse, etc. This gene encodes an RNA binding protein. The encoded protein is part of the spliceosome complex and functions in the second catalytic step of mRNA splicing. RBM17 is frequently overexpressed in many tumors and plays a crucial role in cancer progression and drug resistance. RBM17 may be a therapeutic target in the clinical management of glioma. RBM17 is frequently overexpressed in many solid tumors, and stable expression in HeLa cells confers resistance to doxorubicin and vincristine. Diseases associated with RBM17 include Spinocerebellar Ataxia 1 and Autosomal Dominant Cerebellar Ataxia.

Product Notes

The RBM17 (Catalog #AAA8108813) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-RBM17 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RBM17 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC-P: 1:50-1:200 IP: 1-5uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RBM17 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RBM17, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
