Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Activin A Receptor Type II B (ACVR2B) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Activin A Receptor Type II B (ACVR2B) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) = SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for ACVR2B elisa kit
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Activin A Receptor Type II B (ACVR2B). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Activin A Receptor Type II B (ACVR2B). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Activin A Receptor Type II B (ACVR2B), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Activin A Receptor Type II B (ACVR2B) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Uniprot Description

ACVR2B: a tyrosine-kinase like receptor kinase of the STKR family. The holoreceptor receptor is a heteromeric complex of receptor serine kinases which include at least two type I (I and IB) and two type II (II and IIB) receptors. Each is composed of a ligand-binding extracellular domain with cysteine-rich region, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic kinase domain. Type II receptors are required for binding ligands and for expression of type I receptors. Type I and II receptors form a stable complex after ligand binding, resulting in phosphorylation of type I receptors by type II receptors. Type II receptor kinases are apparently constitutively active. The IIB receptor displays a 3- to 4-fold higher affinity for activin A than the II receptor.

Product Notes

The Mouse ACVR2B acvr2b (Catalog #AAA2707564) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2707564 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse ACVR2B. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Activin A Receptor Type II B (ACVR2B), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
