Related Product Information for Eno1 active protein
Eno1 also known as Alpha-Enolase, is one of three enolase isoenzymes and a glycolytic enzyme expressed in most tissues. This protein plays a key role in anaerobic metabolism under hypoxic conditions and may act as a cell surface plasminogen receptor during tissue invasion. Abnormal expression of Eno1 is associated with tumor progression in some cases of breast and lung cancer. It also has been identified as an autoantigen associated with Hashimoto's encephalopathy and severe asthma. Recombinant mouse Eno1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.

Uniprot Description

Multifunctional enzyme that, as well as its role in glycolysis, plays a part in various processes such as growth control, hypoxia tolerance and allergic responses (). May also function in the intravascular and pericellular fibrinolytic system due to its ability to serve as a receptor and activator of plasminogen on the cell surface of several cell-types such as leukocytes and neurons. Stimulates immunoglobulin production ().

Product Notes

The Eno1 eno1 (Catalog #AAA206741) is an Active Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's Eno1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Enzyme Activity. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Eno1 eno1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MGSMSILRIH AREIFDSRGN PTVEVDLYTA KGLFRAAVPS GASTGIYEAL ELRDNDKTRF MGKGVSQAVE HINKTIAPAL VSKKVNVVEQ EKIDKLMIEM DGTENKSKFG ANAILGVSLA VCKAGAVEKG VPLYRHIADL AGNPEVILPV PAFNVINGGS HAGNKLAMQE FMILPVGASS FREAMRIGAE VYHNLKNVIK EKYGKDATNV GDEGGFAPNI LENKEALELL KTAIAKAGYT DQVVIGMDVA ASEFYRSGKY DLDFKSPDDP SRYITPDQLA DLYKSFVQNY PVVSIEDPFD QDDWGAWQKF TASAGIQVVG DDLTVTNPKR IAKAASEKSC NCLLLKVNQI GSVTESLQAC KLAQSNGWGV MVSHRSGETE DTFIADLVVG LCTGQIKTGA PCRSERLAKY NQILRIEEEL GSKAKFAGRS FRNPLAK. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Eno1, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
