Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-1:500
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of LMX1B Antibody (Center) in mouse heart tissue lysates (35ug/lane). LMX1B (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human testis tissue reacted with LMX1B Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of LMX1B (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal LMX1B Antibody (Center) . 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the LMX1B gene.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of LIM-homeodomain family of proteins containing two N-terminal zinc-binding LIM domains, 1 homeodomain, and a C-terminal glutamine-rich domain. It functions as a transcription factor, and is essential for the normal development of dorsal limb structures, the glomerular basement membrane, the anterior segment of the eye, and dopaminergic and serotonergic neurons. Mutations in this gene are associated with nail-patella syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010]
Uniprot Description
LMX1B: Essential for the specification of dorsal limb fate at both the zeugopodal and autopodal levels. Defects in LMX1B are the cause of nail-patella syndrome (NPS); also known as onychoosteodysplasia. NPS is a disease that cause abnormal skeletal patterning and renal dysplasia. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The LMX1B lmx1b (Catalog #AAA625238) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LIM/homeobox Protein 1.2 (LMX 1.2, LMX-1.2, LMX1.2, LIM Homeobox Transcription Factor 1-beta, LMX1B, LIM/homeobox Protein LMX1B, MGC138325, MGC142051, NPS1) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LIM/homeobox Protein 1.2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LMX1B lmx1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LIM/homeobox Protein 1.2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
