Related Product Information for anti-CDw198 antibody
Goat anti mouse CDw198 polyclonal antibody specifically recognizes mouse CDw198, otherwise known as CCR8 (C-C chemokine receptor type 8), a transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, which acts a high-affinity receptor for the chemokine I-309 (CCL1), implicated in the regulation of monocyte chemotaxis and thymocyte apoptosis. CDw198 is constitutively expressed by monocytes, preferentially expressed on Th2 (type 2 helper T) cells, and acts as a co-receptor with CD4 for HIV1 infection.

Product Notes

The CDw198 ccr8 (Catalog #AAA223758) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CDw198 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistology Paraffin, Western Blot (WB). ELISA: This product is suitable for use in indirect ELISA applications. ELISA: Maximum Dilution: 1/100000 Immunohistology - Paraffin: Maximum Dilution: 1/400 Western Blotting: Maximum Dilution: 1/1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDw198 ccr8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDw198, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
