Related Product Information for anti-CD197 antibody
Goat anti Mouse CD197 antibody recognizes mouse C-C chemokine receptor type 7, also known as CD197, CCR7, Epstein-Barr virus-induced G-protein coupled receptor 1 or MIP-3 beta receptor. CD197 is a 378 amino acid ~43 kDa multi pass type III transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family (UniProt: P74447). CD197 is expressed by various lymphoid tissues, activated B and T cells, naive T cells, NK cells and dendritic cells (DCs), which acts a high-affinity receptor for the chemokines MIP-3beta (CCL19) and CCL21. Ligand binding of CD197 plays a vital role in the homing of naive T cells and antigen-loaded DCs into secondary organs. Expression of CD197 is strongly up-regulated in B cells infected with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and T cells infected with herpesvirus 6 or 7. Goat anti Mouse CD197 antibody can be used in research studies to distinguish between central memory and effector memory T cells and is reported as suitable for use in immunocytochemistry.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family. This receptor was identified as a gene induced by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), and is thought to be a mediator of EBV effects on B lymphocytes. This receptor is expressed in various lymphoid tissues and activates B and T lymphocytes. It has been shown to control the migration of memory T cells to inflamed tissues, as well as stimulate dendritic cell maturation. The chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19/ECL) has been reported to be a specific ligand of this receptor. Signals mediated by this receptor regulate T cell homeostasis in lymph nodes, and may also function in the activation and polarization of T cells, and in chronic inflammation pathogenesis. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]

The CD197 ccr7 (Catalog #AAA223808) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GOAT ANTI MOUSE CD197 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD197 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Functional Assays (FN), Immunohistology Paraffin, Western Blot (WB). ELISA: This product is suitable for use in indirect ELISA applications. Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. ELISA: Minimum Dilution: 1/100000 Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/10 Functional Assays: Minimum Dilution: 8ug Immunohistology - Paraffin: Minimum Dilution: 1/250 Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 1/1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD197 ccr7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD197, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
