Mouse Complement Component 5a (C5a) ELISA Kit | C5a elisa kit
Mouse Complement Component 5a (C5a)(Sandwich ELISA) ELISA Kit
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Mini Samples Complement Component 5a (C5a). No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mini Samples Complement Component 5a (C5a) and analogues was observed.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Mini Samples Complement Component 5a (C5a) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) = SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-Assay: CV<12%
2. Add 25ul standard or sample to each well. Incubate 1 hour at 37 degree C
3. Aspirate and add 25ul prepared Detection Reagent A. Incubate 1 hour at 37 degree C
4. Aspirate and wash 3 times
5. Add 25ul prepared Detection Reagent B. Incubate 30 minutes at 37 degree C
6. Aspirate and wash 5 times
7. Add 25ul Substrate Solution. Incubate 10-20 minutes at 37 degree C
8. Add 20ul Stop Solution. Read at 450nm immediately.
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
C5: Activation of C5 by a C5 convertase initiates the spontaneous assembly of the late complement components, C5-C9, into the membrane attack complex. C5b has a transient binding site for C6. The C5b-C6 complex is the foundation upon which the lytic complex is assembled. Defects in C5 are the cause of complement component 5 deficiency (C5D). A rare defect of the complement classical pathway associated with susceptibility to severe recurrent infections, predominantly by Neisseria gonorrhoeae or Neisseria meningitidis. An association study of C5 haplotypes and genotypes in individuals with chronic hepatitis C virus infection shows that individuals homozygous for the C5_1 haplotype have a significantly higher stage of liver fibrosis than individuals carrying at least 1 other allele (PubMed:15995705).

Product Notes
The Mouse C5a c5 (Catalog #AAA2709608) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2709608 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse C5a. AAA Biotech's Complement Component 5a (C5a) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Antigen Detection. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the C5a c5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Complement Component 5a (C5a), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
