Specificity
This monoclonal antibody is part of a new panel of reagents, which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. MAb NM97 recognizes an antigen associated with the nuclear membrane expressed in human cells. It can be used to stain the nuclear membrane in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a marker of the nuclear membrane in subcellular fractions. It produces a ring pattern around the nucleus of cells of normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain the nuclear membrane of cells in fixed or frozen tissue sections. It can be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations and formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

Product Notes

The Nuclear Membrane Marker (Catalog #AAA438063) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Nuclear Membrane Marker reacts with Human. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Nuclear Membrane Marker can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistology (IH). Immunofluorescence (0.5-1.0ug/ml); Immunocytochemistry (Acetone-fixed cells) (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) Immunohistology (Frozen & Formalin-paraffin) (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Nuclear Membrane Marker for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nuclear Membrane Marker, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
