Specificity
This MAb is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research. It reacts specifically with human cells. This monoclonal antibody is part of a new panel of reagents, which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. MAb NM95 recognizes an antigen associated with the nucleoli in human cells. It can be used to stain the nucleoli in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a marker of the nucleoli in subcellular fractions. It produces a speckled pattern in the nuclei of cells of normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain the nucleoli of cells in fixed or frozen tissue sections. It can be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations and formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

Product Notes

The Nucleolar Antigen (Catalog #AAA438004) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Human Nucleolar Antigen (Marker For Human Cells) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human. Does not react with Mouse, Rat and Cow and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Nucleolar Antigen can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin. Immunofluorescence (0.5-1.0ug/ml) Immunocytochemistry (Acetone-fixed cells) (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-paraffin) (0.25-0.5ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues is enhanced by boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate Buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Nucleolar Antigen for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nucleolar Antigen, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
