Specificity
This MAb recognizes Golgi complex in human cells. It is a part of a new panel of reagents, which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. It recognizes an antigen associated with the Golgi complex in human cells only. It can be used to stain the Golgi complex in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a Golgi marker in subcellular fractions. It produces a diffuse staining pattern of the Golgi zone in normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain Golgi complex of cells in frozen tissue sections. It can also be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations. This MAb is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research. It reacts specifically with human cells.

Product Notes

The Golgi Complex (Catalog #AAA438508) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Golgi Complex (Marker for Human Cells) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Golgi Complex can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin. Flow Cytometry (0.5-1.0 ug/million cells) Immunofluorescence (1-2 ug/ml) Western Blot (1-2 ug/ml) Immunocytochemistry (Acetone or paraformaldehyde fixed) (1-2 ug/ml for 30 min) Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (1-2 ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 mins at 90°C followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes) Optimal dilution should be determined by the enduser. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Golgi Complex for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Golgi Complex, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
