Related Product Information for anti-CytokeRatin 10 / KeRatin K10 antibody
CytokeRatins are a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins and are characterized by a remarkable biochemical diversity, represented in Human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides. They range in molecular weight between 40 kDa and 68 kDa and isoelectric pH between 4.9 - 7.8. The individual Human cytokeRatins are numbered 1 to 20. The various epithelia in the Human body usually express cytokeRatins which are not only characteristic of the type of epithelium, but also related to the degree of matuRation or differentiation within an epithelium. CytokeRatin subtype expression patterns are used to an increasing extent in the distinction of different types of epithelial malignancies. The cytokeRatin antibodies are not only of assistance in the differential identification of tumors using immunohistochemistry on tissue sections, but are also a useful tool in cytopathology and flow cytometric assays.

The Mouse anti CytokeRatin 10 / KeRatin K10 reacts with Canine, Human, Mouse, Rat, Swine, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CytokeRatin 10 / KeRatin K10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC), Immunocytochemistry (IHC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (frozen), Western Blot (WB). RKSE60 is suitable for immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry on frozen tissues and flow cytometry. Optimal antibody dilution should be determined by titRation; recommended range is 1:100 - 1:200 for flow cytometry, and for immunohistochemistry with avidin-biotinylated Horseradish peroxidase complex (ABC) as detection reagent, and 1:100 - 1:1000 for immunoblotting appliCations. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CytokeRatin 10 / KeRatin K10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CytokeRatin 10 / KeRatin K10, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
