Related Product Information for anti-CDC34 antibody
Cdc 34 is a ubiquitin conjugating enzyme that is essential for the transition from G1 to S phase in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Human Cdc34 fully complements the budding yeast Cdc34 temperature sensitive mutant phenotype. In extracts of Xenopus laevis eggs, Cdc34 is required for the onset of DNA replication and appears to function in a multi-protein complex. Cdc34 is highly conserved among vertebrates and probably functions similarly in all eukaryotes to regulate the start of DNA synthesis.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. This protein is a part of the large multiprotein complex, which is required for ubiquitin-mediated degradation of cell cycle G1 regulators, and for the initiation of DNA replication. [provided by RefSeq]

Uniprot Description

CDC34: a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Is a part of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex which is required for ubiquitin-mediated degradation of cell cycle G1 regulators. Required for the initiation of DNA replication.

Product Notes

The CDC34 cdc34 (Catalog #AAA190087) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's cdc34 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoblot, Immunoprecipitation. Immunoblotting and Immunoprecipitation: use at 1-5 ug/ml. Positive controls: 293 cells and recombinant fusion protein. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC34 cdc34 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "cdc34, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
