Related Product Information for anti-CDC34 antibody
The cell division cycle (Cdc) genes are required at various points in the cell cycle. Cdc25A, Cdc25B and Cdc25C protein tyrosine phosphatases function as mitotic activators by dephosphorylating Cdc2 p34 on regulatory tyrosine residues. Cdc6 is the human homolog of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc6, which is involved in the initiation of DNA replication. Cdc37 appears to facilitate Cdk4/cyclin D1 complex formation and has been shown to form a stable complex with HSP 90. Cdc34, Cdc27 and Cdc16 function as ubiquitinconjugating enzymes. Cdc34 is thought to be the structural and functional homolog of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc34, which is essential for the G1/S phase transition. Cdc16 and Cdc27 are components of the APC (anaphasepromoting complex) which ubiquitinates cyclin B, resulting in cyclin B/Cdk complex degradation.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. This protein is a part of the large multiprotein complex, which is required for ubiquitin-mediated degradation of cell cycle G1 regulators, and for the initiation of DNA replication. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

CDC34: a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Is a part of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex which is required for ubiquitin-mediated degradation of cell cycle G1 regulators. Required for the initiation of DNA replication.

Protein type: Ligase; Ubiquitin ligase; Ubiquitin conjugating system; EC 6.3.2.19

Product Notes

The CDC34 cdc34 (Catalog #AAA3011761) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDC34 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CDC34 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IF: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC34 cdc34 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDC34, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
