Specificity
This antibody is specific for murine CD45R antigen which is expressed on B lymphocytes throughout their development from early pro-B stages onwards and is down-regulated upon terminal differentiation to plasma cells. Apart from B cells, CD45R is expressed on a small subset of dendritic cells (plasmacytoid dendritic cells). The CD45R mAb clone RA3-6B2 specifically recognizes the exon A-restricted isoform of mouse CD45.

Applicable Applications for anti-CD45R antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), WV, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF)
Application Notes
This antibody has been used in FACS analyses, immunoprecipitation, immunoblotting, and immunohistochemistry in various studies, such as to understand the role of PD-1 in maintaining islet-specific tolerance in type 1 diabetes (Martinov et al, 2016), to investigate how Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxins spread systemically and trigger inflammatory cascades (Svedova et al, 2016), to highlight the physiologic importance of cell-type specific balancing of AhR/AhRR expression in response to microbial, nutritional and other environmental stimuli (Brandstätter et al, 2016), and to examine the role of FBXW7 in suppression of cancer metastasis in a non-cell-autonomous manner (Yumimoto et al, 2015).

Product Notes

The CD45R ptprc (Catalog #AAA488609) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD45R [RA3-6B2] reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD45R can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), WV, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD45R ptprc for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD45R, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
