Mouse anti-Human ATD3A Monoclonal Antibody | anti-ATD3A antibody
ATD3A (384) Mouse mAb
IP: 10 tests
FC/FACS: 1:100-1:200
Immunoprecipitation (IP)
(ATD3A(384) was immunopre-cipitated from 1mg of Jurkat cells membrane fraction, blotted with M25064 of 10 ug. Western blot was performed from the immunopre-cipitate using M25064 at 1/1000 dilution. Anti-Mouse-IgG(HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG, was used as secondary antibody at 1/10000 dilution. Lane 1: Jurkat cells membrane fraction. Lane2: IP product of Jurkat cells membrane fraction.Predicted band size : 66 KDaObserved band size : 66 KDaBlocking and dilution buffer and concentration:5% milk/TBST.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed Jurkat (Human T cell leukemia cells from peripheral blood) cells labeling ATD3A(384) with M25064 at 1/200 dilution (red) compared with a mouse monoclonal IgG isotype control (blue) and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody, green). Goat anti-mouse IgG (FITC) at 1/300 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a ubiquitously expressed mitochondrial membrane protein that contributes to mitochondrial dynamics, nucleoid organization, protein translation, cell growth, and cholesterol metabolism. This gene is a member of the ATPase family AAA-domain containing 3 gene family which, in humans, includes two other paralogs. Naturally occurring mutations in this gene are associated with distinct neurological syndromes including Harel-Yoon syndrome. High-level expression of this gene is associated with poor survival in breast cancer patients. A homozygous knockout of the orthologous gene in mice results in embryonic lethality at day 7.5 due to growth retardation and defective development of the trophoblast lineage. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2017]
Uniprot Description
Essential for mitochondrial network organization, mitochondrial metabolism and cell growth at organism and cellular level. May play an important role in mitochondrial protein synthesis. May also participate in mitochondrial DNA replication. May bind to mitochondrial DNA D-loops and contribute to nucleoid stability. Required for enhanced channeling of cholesterol for hormone-dependent steroidogenesis.

The ATD3A (384) Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ATD3A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 1:1000-1:5000 IP: 10 tests FC/FACS: 1:100-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATD3A atad3a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATD3A, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
