Mouse anti-Human Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) Monoclonal Antibody | anti-AST antibody
Monoclonal Antibody to Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST)
Immunohistochemistry: 5-30ug/mL
Immunocytochemistry: 5-30ug/mL
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4 degree C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for 24 months.
Stability Test:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
GOT1: Plays a key role in amino acid metabolism. Belongs to the class-I pyridoxal-phosphate-dependent aminotransferase family.

Product Notes
The AST got1 (Catalog #AAA2111221) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Monoclonal Antibody to Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Western Blotting: 0.5-3ug/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-30ug/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-30ug/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AST got1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
