Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution in PBS, DTT and EDTA.
Applicable Applications for FGF3 recombinant protein
Cell Assay
Species
Human
Endotoxin Level
<1.0EU/ug of recombinant protein as determined by the LAL method
Reconstitution
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Preparation and Storage
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70 degree C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2 degree -8 degree C for one month, or at -20 degree C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Related Product Information for FGF3 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human FGF3 was expressed in E Coli cells. The protein accession number is P11487
FGF3 belongs to the FGF family, members of which act on cells of mesodermal and neuroectodermal origin. Originally designated int2, the FGF3 gene was initially identified as a protooncogene in mice. FGF3 plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, and cell differentiation and is required for normal ear development. Heparan sulfate glycosaminoglycans function as co-receptors to increase the affinity between FGF3 and its receptors; FGFR1 and FGFR2. Human and mouse FGF3 are known to share 88% amino acid sequence identity. Recombinant Human FGF3 is a single polypeptide of 21kDa.

Product Notes

The FGF3 fgf3 (Catalog #AAA516999) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's FGF3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FGF3 fgf3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FGF3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
