Materials Provided
1. Capture Antibody 1.0 mg/mL of mouse anti-SPARCL1 monoclonal antibody. Dilute to a working concentration of 2.0ug/mL in CBS before coating.
2. Detection Antibody 0.5 mg/mL mouse anti-SPARCL1 monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish-peroxidase (HRP). Dilute to working concentration of 1.0ug/mL in detection antibody dilution buffer before use.
3. Standard Each vial contains 160 ng of recombinant SPARCL1. Reconstitute with 1 mL detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 6000 pg/mL is recommended.

Preparation and Storage

Detection Antibody: Protect it from prolonged exposure to light. Aliquot and store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C and for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Standard: Store lyophilized standard at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Aliquot and store the reconstituted Standard at -80 degree C for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

SPARC-like protein 1 (SPARCL1; also known as SC1, high endothelial venule protein, or hevin) is an extracellular matrix-associated, secreted glycoprotein belonging to the secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine (SPARC) family of matricellular proteins. It contains three conserved structural domains that are implicated in the regulation of cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation. SPARCL1 is expressed during embryogenesis and tissue remodeling and is especially prominent in brain and vasculature.
