Materials Provided
1. Capture Antibody 1 mg/mL of mouse anti-Human ECM1 monoclonal antibody (in PBS, pH 7.4). Dilute to a working concentration of 2ug/mL in PBS before coating.
2. Detection Antibody 0.2 mg/mL of rabbit anti-Human ECM1 monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish-peroxidase (HRP) (in PBS, 50 % HRP-Protector, pH 7.4, store at 4 degree C). Dilute to working concentration of 0.8ug/mL in detection antibody dilution buffer before use.
3. Standard Each vial contains 50 ng of recombinant Human ECM1. Reconstitute with 1 mL detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 2500 pg/mL is recommended.
Preparation and Storage
Capture Antibody: Aliquot and store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Detection Antibody: Store at 4 degree C and protect it from prolonged exposure to light for up to 6 months from date of receipt. DO NOT FREEZE!
Standard: Store lyophilized standard at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Aliquot and store the reconstituted Standard at -80 degree C for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Related Product Information for ECM1 elisa pair set
Extracellular matrix protein 1 (ECM1) is a secreted glycoprotein and playing a pivotal role in endochondral bone formation, angiogenesis, and tumour biology. Three splice variants have been identified: ECM1a (540 aa) is most widely expressed, with highest expression in the placenta and heart; ECM1b (415 aa) is differentiation-dependent expressed and found only in tonsil and associated with suprabasal keratinocytes; ECM1c (559 aa) accounts for approximately 15% of skin ECM1. Although ECM1 is not tumor specific, is significantly elevated in many malignant epithelial tumors and is suggested as a possible trigger for angiogenesis, tumor progression and malignancies. It also has been shown to regulate endochondral bone formation, skeletal development and tissue remodeling.

This ECM1 Matched ELISA Antibody Pair Set, Human is a solid phase sandwich ELISA for quantitative determination of Human ECM1. It contains Human ECM1 capture antibody, Human ECM1 detector antibody (HRP) and a highly purified HEK293-expressed recombinant Human ECM1 protein.

Product Notes

The ECM1 (Catalog #AAA8118239) is an ELISA Pair Set and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ECM1, ELISA Pair Set" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
