Allophycocyanin
Applicable Applications for CD152 recombinant protein
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), ELISA (EIA)
Buffer
50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 500 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 15% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% NaN3 (as a preservative)
Performance
Five x 105 cultured Raji human tumor cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of CD152-muIg/APC at a dilution factor of 1:20 (10 ug/ml). Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed using by FACS. The cells stained positive with a mean shift of 2.2 log10 fluorescent units when compared to background. Binding was blocked when cells were pre incubated with 20 ul of 0.5 mg/ml unconjugated CD152-muIg.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2 - 5 degree C. Freeze/Thawing is not recommended. Protect from light.
Product should retain activity for at least 12 months after shipping date when stored as recommended.

Related Product Information for CD152 recombinant protein
Human CD152 (CTLA-4) is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed at low levels on activated T cells (1). CD152 is a high affinity receptor for the costimulatory molecules CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2) and appears to function as a negative regulator of T cell activation (2, 3). A soluble fusion protein combining the extracellular (125aa) domain of human CD152 and murine IgG2a Fc (CTLA-4 Ig) was developed (4).

Product Notes

The CD152 (Catalog #AAA666917) is a Recombinant Protein and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD152 (CTLA-4) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD152 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD152 (CTLA-4), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
