UNC0224 is a selective G9a Histone Methyltransferase inhibitor. G9a methylates Histone H3 lysine 9, which is required for early embryogenesis. UNC0224 inhibits G9a with an IC50 of 15 nM. It also inhibits GLP, another H3K9 methyltransferase with an IC50 of 20 nM.
