Related Product Information for anti-MLKL antibody
MLKL (mixed lineage kinase domain-like) is a 471 amino acid protein that contains one protein kinase domain which is thought to be catalytically inactive. The gene encoding MLKL maps to chromosome 16 and is expressed as two isoforms which are produced by alternative splicing events. Chromosome 16, which is associated with a variety of genetic disorders, encodes over 900 genes and comprises nearly 3% of the human genome. The GAN gene is located on chromosome 16 and, with mutation, may lead to giant axonal neuropathy, a nervous system disorder characterized by increasing malfunction with growth. The rare disorder Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome is associated with chromosome 16, as is Crohn's disease, which is a gastrointestinal inflammatory condition.

Product Notes

The MLKL (Catalog #AAA3014047) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MLKL Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MLKL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:1000-1:5000 IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MLKL for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MLKL, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
