Rabbit anti-Human Platelet Derived Growth Factor BB Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PDGFBB antibody
Polyclonal Antibody to Platelet Derived Growth Factor BB (PDGFBB)
Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:23-90
Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:23-90
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4 degree C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for 24 months.
Stability Test:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the protein family comprised of both platelet-derived growth factors (PDGF) and vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF). The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate platelet-derived growth factor subunit B, which can homodimerize, or alternatively, heterodimerize with the related platelet-derived growth factor subunit A. These proteins bind and activate PDGF receptor tyrosine kinases, which play a role in a wide range of developmental processes. Mutations in this gene are associated with meningioma. Reciprocal translocations between chromosomes 22 and 17, at sites where this gene and that for collagen type 1, alpha 1 are located, are associated with dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, a rare skin tumor. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2015]
Uniprot Description
Growth factor that plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell migration, survival and chemotaxis. Potent mitogen for cells of mesenchymal origin (PubMed:26599395). Required for normal proliferation and recruitment of pericytes and vascular smooth muscle cells in the central nervous system, skin, lung, heart and placenta. Required for normal blood vessel development, and for normal development of kidney glomeruli. Plays an important role in wound healing. Signaling is modulated by the formation of heterodimers with PDGFA ().

Product Notes
The PDGFBB pdgfb (Catalog #AAA2028005) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Platelet Derived Growth Factor BB (PDGFBB) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Platelet Derived Growth Factor BB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, Immunoprecipitation (IP). . Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/mL;1:230-900 Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:23-90 Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:23-90 Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDGFBB pdgfb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Platelet Derived Growth Factor BB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
