Preparation and Storage
Storage:
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4 degree C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for 24 months.

Stability Test:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Uniprot Description

DGKZ: Displays a strong preference for 1,2-diacylglycerols over 1,3-diacylglycerols, but lacks substrate specificity among molecular species of long chain diacylglycerols. Isoform 2 but not isoform 1 regulates RASGRP1 activity. Belongs to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: EC 2.7.1.107; Kinase, lipid; Lipid Metabolism - glycerolipid; Lipid Metabolism - glycerophospholipid; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2|2 E1

Cellular Component: cytoplasm; lamellipodium; membrane; nuclear speck; nucleus; plasma membrane

Molecular Function: ATP binding; diacylglycerol kinase activity; enzyme inhibitor activity; kinase activity; lipid kinase activity; metal ion binding; NAD+ kinase activity; nucleotide binding; protein binding; protein C-terminus binding; transferase activity

Biological Process: diacylglycerol metabolic process; G1 DNA damage checkpoint; glycerolipid metabolic process; lipid phosphorylation; metabolic process; negative regulation of mitotic cell cycle; negative regulation of Ras protein signal transduction; phosphorylation; protein kinase C-activating G-protein coupled receptor signaling pathway

Product Notes

The DGKz dgkz (Catalog #AAA2026991) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Diacylglycerol Kinase Zeta (DGKz) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Diacylglycerol Kinase Zeta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemsitry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DGKz dgkz for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Diacylglycerol Kinase Zeta, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
