Thyrotropin receptor (TSHR) Recombinant Protein | TSHR recombinant protein
Recombinant Dog Thyrotropin receptor (TSHR)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Function: Receptor for thyrothropin. Plays a central role in controlling thyroid cell metabolism. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. Also acts as a receptor for thyrostimulin (GPA2+GPB5).
Subunit structure: Interacts (via the PDZ-binding motif) with SCRIB; regulates TSHR trafficking and function
By similarity.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Sequence similarities: Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. FSH/LSH/TSH subfamily.Contains 6 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Thyrotropin receptor (TSHR), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
