Mouse Transforming Growth Factor beta3 ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: TGFbeta3 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-TGFbeta3 antibody and an TGFbeta3-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with TGFbeta3-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the TGFbeta3 concentration since TGFbeta3 from samples and TGFbeta3-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-TGFbeta3 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by TGFbeta3 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind TGFbeta3-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The TGFbeta3 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the TGF-beta family of proteins. The encoded protein is secreted and is involved in embryogenesis and cell differentiation. Defects in this gene are a cause of familial arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia 1. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009]

Product Notes
The Mouse TGFbeta3 tgfb3 (Catalog #AAA752663) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA752663 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse TGFbeta3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Transforming Growth Factor beta3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
