Related Product Information for Socs3 recombinant protein
SOCS family proteins form part of a classical negative feedback system that regulates cytokine signal transduction. SOCS3 is involved in negative regulation of cytokines that signal through the JAK/STAT pathway. Inhibits cytokine signal transduction by binding to tyrosine kinase receptors including gp130, LIF, erythropoietin, insulin, IL12, GCSF and leptin receptors. Binding to JAK2 inhibits its kinase activity. Suppresses fetal liver erythropoiesis. Regulates onset and maintenance of allergic responses mediated by T-helper type 2 cells. Regulates IL-6 signaling in vivo. Probable substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin BC-CUL2/5-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Ses to recognize IL6ST.

Uniprot Description

SOCS family proteins form part of a classical negative feedback system that regulates cytokine signal transduction. Probable substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin BC-CUL2/5-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Seems to recognize IL6ST ().

Product Notes

The Socs3 socs3 (Catalog #AAA1169806) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli or Yeast or Baculovirus or Mammalian Cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 1-225. Full-length. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MVTHSKFPAA GMSRPLDTSL RLKTFSSKSE YQLVVNAVRK LQESGFYWSA VTGGEANLLL SAEPAGTFLI RDSSDQRHFF TLSVETQSGT KNLRIQCEGG SFSLQSDPRS TQPVPRFDCV LKLVHHYM PPPGAPSFSL PPTEPSFEVQ EQPPAQALPG GTPKRAYYIY SGGEKIPLVL SRPLSSNVAT LQHLCRKTVN GHLDSYEKVT QLPGPIREFL DQYDAPL . It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
