Sialic Acid Binding Ig Like Lectin 12 (SIGLEC12) Recombinant Protein | SIGLEC12 recombinant protein
Recombinant Sialic Acid Binding Ig Like Lectin 12 (SIGLEC12)
1. Splice variants: Alternative splicing may create different sized proteins from the same gene.
2. Relative charge: The composition of amino acids may affects the charge of the protein.
3. Post-translational modification: Phosphorylation, glycosylation, methylation etc.
4. Post-translation cleavage: Many proteins are synthesized as pro-proteins, and then cleaved to give the active form.
5. Polymerization of the target protein: Dimerization, multimerization etc.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 2-8 degree C for one month.
Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months.
Stability Test:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Accurate Molecular Mass: 25kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions.
Uniprot Description
SIGLEC7: Putative adhesion molecule that mediates sialic-acid dependent binding to cells. Preferentially binds to alpha-2,3- and alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid. Also binds disialogangliosides (disialogalactosyl globoside, disialyl lactotetraosylceramide and disialyl GalNAc lactotetraoslylceramide). The sialic acid recognition site may be masked by cis interactions with sialic acids on the same cell surface. In the immune response, may act as an inhibitory receptor upon ligand induced tyrosine phosphorylation by recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatase(s) via their SH2 domain(s) that block signal transduction through dephosphorylation of signaling molecules. Mediates inhibition of natural killer cells cytotoxicity. May play a role in hemopoiesis. Inhibits differentiation of CD34+ cell precursors towards myelomonocytic cell lineage and proliferation of leukemic myeloid cells (in vitro). Belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. SIGLEC (sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin) family. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

AAA Biotech's Sialic Acid Binding Ig Like Lectin 12 (SIGLEC12) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Positive Control; Immunogen; SDS-PAGE; Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SIGLEC12 siglec12 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: LNVE RKVVVQEGLC VLVPCNFSYL KKRLTDWTDS DPVHGFWYRE GTDRRKDSIV ATNNPIRKAV KETRNRFFLL GDPWRNDCSL NIREIRKKDA GLYFFRLERG KTKYNYMWDK M. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Sialic Acid Binding Ig Like Lectin 12 (SIGLEC12), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
