Biological Activity
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T lymphocytes using a concentration range of 10-50ng/ml
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile ddH2O and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for Cxcl10 active protein
IP-10 is a CXC chemokine that signals through the CXCR3 receptor. IP-10 selectively chemoattracts Th1 lymphocytes and monocytes and inhibits cytokine-stimulated hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. Additionally it is angiostatic and mitogenic for vascular smooth muscle cells. Recombinant human IP-10 is an 8.5kD protein consisting of 77 amino acids including four conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokine.

Product Notes

The Cxcl10 cxcl10 (Catalog #AAA651038) is an Active Protein produced from Reombinant Human (E Coli) and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IP-10, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
