Related Product Information for eNOS-3 elisa kit
Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is Rat eNOS-3 monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

NCBI Description

enzyme that synthesizes Nitric oxide from L-arginine [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

eNOS: endothelial constitutive nitric oxide synthase. Synthesizes nitric oxide (NO) from arginine and oxygen, which is implicated in vascular smooth muscle relaxation through a cGMP-mediated signal transduction pathway. NO mediates vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced angiogenesis in coronary vessels and promotes blood clotting through the activation of platelets. Induced in humans by caloric restriction. Stimulated by calcium/calmodulin. Inhibited by NOSIP and NOSTRIN.

Protein type: Amino Acid Metabolism - arginine and proline; Oxidoreductase; EC 1.14.13.39

Cellular Component: Golgi apparatus; mitochondrion; vesicle membrane; caveola; cytosol; lipid raft; cytoskeleton; apical part of cell; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; nucleolus; nucleus; sarcolemma

Molecular Function: actin monomer binding; FAD binding; nitric-oxide synthase activity; beta-catenin binding; Hsp90 protein binding; actin binding; calmodulin binding; protein binding; FMN binding; NADPH-hemoprotein reductase activity; cadherin binding; iron ion binding; heme binding; NADP binding; nitric-oxide synthase binding

Product Notes

The Rat eNOS-3 nos3 (Catalog #AAA262316) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA262316 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat eNOS-3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Endothelial Nitric Oxide Synthase 3 (eNOS-3), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
