Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescence staining of ZNF219 in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human ZNF219 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4 degree C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.)

The ZNF219 (zinc finger protein 219) gene, located on chromosome 14q11, is a member of the Kruppel-like zinc finger gene family that is involved in a diverse range of biological processes. The ZNF219 gene encodes a 77-kDa nuclear protein containing nine sets of C2H2 zinc finger structures. The protein functions as a transcriptional repressor of the high mobility group nucleosome binding domain 1 protein, which is associated with transcriptionally active chromatin. ZNF219 has an important paralog named ZNF536.
