Rabbit NME2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-NME2 antibody
NME2 Antibody (N-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(NME2 Antibody (F40) western blot analysis in HL-60,Jurkat,MCF-7 cell line, mouse kidney and rat stomach tissue lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the NME2 antibody detected the NME2 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent confocal image of Hela cell stained with NME2 Antibody (N-term). Hela cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with NME2 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min). NME2 immunoreactivity is localized to Cytoplasm and Nucleus significantly.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This locus represents naturally occurring read-through transcription between the neighboring NME1 and NME2 genes. The significance of this read-through transcription and the function of the resulting protein product have not yet been determined. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2010]
Uniprot Description
NME2: Major role in the synthesis of nucleoside triphosphates other than ATP. Negatively regulates Rho activity by interacting with AKAP13/LBC. Acts as a transcriptional activator of the MYC gene; binds DNA non-specifically (PubMed:8392752). Exhibits histidine protein kinase activity. Belongs to the NDK family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The NME2 nme2 (Catalog #AAA9204159) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 25-54. The NME2 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human, mouse, rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NME2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NME2 nme2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NME2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
