Rabbit anti-Human Mucin 17 (MUC17) Polyclonal Antibody | anti-MUC17 antibody
Biotin-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Mucin 17 (MUC17)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane-bound mucin that provides protection to gut epithelial cells. The encoded protein contains about 60 tandem repeats, with each repeat being around 60 aa. N-glycosylation enables the encoded protein to localize on the cell surface, while the C-terminus interacts with the scaffold protein PDZ domain containing 1 (PDZK1). Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and the other non-protein coding, have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2015]

Product Notes
The MUC17 muc17 (Catalog #AAA2091963) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Biotin-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Mucin 17 (MUC17) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Mucin 17 (MUC17) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MUC17 muc17 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Mucin 17 (MUC17), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
