Related Product Information for anti-MOXD1 antibody
By the differential display of genes showing altered expression during senescence in human diploid fibroblasts, Chambers et al. (1998) cloned MOXD1, which they called MOX. DBH-like monooxygenase protein 1, also known as monooxygenase X, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MOXD1 gene. The MOXD1 gene, located on 6q23.2, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, fruit fly, mosquito, and frog. MOXD1 belongs to the copper type II ascorbate-dependent monooxygenase family. 2 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. MOXD1 is widely expressed in the endometrium, adrenal, and other tissues. DBH-like 1 maintains many of the structural features of dopamine beta-monooxygenase DBH. DBH deficiency has been treated effectively with L-Threo-3, 4-dihydroxyphenylserine (DOPS).

Product Notes

The MOXD1 (Catalog #AAA8109132) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MOXD1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MOXD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). IHC-P: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MOXD1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MOXD1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
