Related Product Information for anti-MAP3K12 antibody
ZPK is a member of serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase contains a leucine-zipper domain, and is predominately expressed in neuronal cells. The phosphorylation state of this kinase in synaptic terminals was shown to be regulated by membrane depolarization via calcineurin. This kinase forms heterodimers with leucine zipper containing transcription factors, such as cAMP responsive element binding protein (CREB) and MYC, and thus may play a regulatory role in PKA or retinoic acid induced neuronal differentiation.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase contains a leucine-zipper domain and is predominately expressed in neuronal cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different proteins have been described.[provided by RefSeq, Jul 2010]

Product Notes

The MAP3K12 map3k12 (Catalog #AAA630604) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAP3K12, CT (Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 12, Dual Leucine Zipper Bearing Kinase, DLK, Leucine-zipper Protein Kinase, MAPK-upstream Kinase, MUK, MEKK12, Mixed Lineage Kinase, ZPK, ZPKP1) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MAP3K12 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAP3K12 map3k12 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAP3K12, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
