Related Product Information for anti-MAPK1 antibody
Human p44/42 MAP Kinase belongs to the family of signal transduction intermediates leading to cell proliferation or differentiation, known as MAPKs (mitogen-activated protein kinases). It plays an important role in the signal transduction pathways that regulates various cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and cell cycle progression in response to a variety of extracellular signals.Activation of the protein requires phosphorylation of both tyrosine and threonine residues by upstream dual-specific kinases. Active MAPKs are responsible for the phosphorylation of a variety of effector proteins, including several transcription factors.

Product Notes

The MAPK1 (Catalog #AAA6001191) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAP Kinase p44/42, phosphorylated (Tyr204) (MAPK3/MAPK1, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 1, MAP Kinase 1, MAPK 1, ERT1, Extracellular Signal-regulated Kinase 2, ERK-2, MAP Kinase Isoform p42, p42-MAPK, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 2, MAP Kinase 2, MA reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MAP Kinase p44/42 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAPK1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAP Kinase p44/42, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
