MAP Kinase p44/42 Immunoglobulin
MAP Kinase p44/42, phosphorylated (Thr202, Tyr204), Immunohistochemistry Controls (MAPK3/MAPK1, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 1, MAP Kinase 1, MAPK 1, ERT1, Extracellular Signal-regulated Kinase 2, ERK-2, MAP Kinase Isoform p42, p42-MAPK, Mitogen-activ
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of extracts from NIH/3T3 cells untreated or treated with Phorbol-12-Myristate-13-Acetate (PMA), using Phospho-p44/42 MAPK (Thr 202/Tyr204) (IHC Preferred) T8260-08 (upper) or p44/42 MAPK (lower). This assay serves as a control for the efficacy of the PMA treatment.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded NIH/3T3 cells, untreated (left) or treated with Phorbol-12-Myristate-13-Acetate (PMA) (right), using Phospho-p44/42MAPK (Thr202 /Tyr204) (IHC Preferred))
Sections are cut freshly upon ordering.
Each control slide contains formalin fixed, paraffin-embedded NIH/3T3 cells, both untreated and treated with Phorbol-13-Myristate-12-Acetate (PMA), that serve as a control for Phospho-p44/42 MAPK (Thr202/Tyr204) immunostaining. PMA induces phosphorylation of p44/42 MAPK. Western Blot analysis was performed on extracts derived from the same cells to verify the efficacy of the the PMA treatment.

Product Notes
The MAP Kinase p44/42 (Catalog #AAA652636) is an Immunoglobulin and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. These slides are intended for use in immunohistochemical assays. Please see the Companion Products for a list of prodcucts that can be used with these slides. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAP Kinase p44/42 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAP Kinase p44/42, Immunoglobulin" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
