Rabbit anti-Human, mouse LZTS1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-LZTS1 antibody
LZTS1 Antibody (N-term)
ubiquitously expressed in normal tissues. In uveal melanomas,
expression of this protein is silenced in rapidly metastasizing and
metastatic tumor cells but has normal expression in slowly
metastasizing or nonmetastasizing tumor cells. This protein may
have a role in cell-cycle control by interacting with the
Cdk1/cyclinB1 complex. This gene is located on chromosomal region
8p22. Loss of heterozygosity (LOH) in the 8p arm is a common
characteristic of many types of cancer.

Uniprot Description
LZTS1: Involved in the regulation of cell growth. May stabilize the active CDC2-cyclin B1 complex and thereby contribute to the regulation of the cell cycle and the prevention of uncontrolled cell proliferation. May act as a tumor suppressor. Defects in LZTS1 may be a cause of esophageal cancer (ESCR). A malignancy of the esophagus. The most common types are esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma. Cancer of the esophagus remains a devastating disease because it is usually not detected until it has progressed to an advanced incurable stage. Belongs to the LZTS family. 7 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The LZTS1 lzts1 (Catalog #AAA9204663) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 77-105. The LZTS1 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LZTS1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LZTS1 lzts1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LZTS1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
