Related Product Information for anti-IRAK3 antibody
IRAK-M Antibody: Interleukin-1 (IL-1) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induces cellular response through IL-1 receptor (IL-1R) and Toll like receptors (TLR). IL-1 receptor-associated kinase (IRAK and IRAK2) mediates the activation of NF-betaB by IL-1/Toll receptors, which is a pivotal transcription factor mediating inflammatory and immune response. A novel member in the IRAK/Pelle family was recently identified and designated IRAK-M. IRAKs associate with IL-1/Toll receptors after IL-1 or LPS stimulation and the dominant negative mutants of IRAKs inhibit IL-1 or LPS induced NF-betaB activation. Members in IRAK/Pelle family play a central role in IL-1R/TLR mediated inflammatory responses to cytokine IL-1 and LPS.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase protein family. Members of this family are essential components of the Toll/IL-R immune signal transduction pathways. This protein is primarily expressed in monocytes and macrophages and functions as a negative regulator of Toll-like receptor signaling. Mutations in this gene are associated with a susceptibility to asthma. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The IRAK3 irak3 (Catalog #AAA150500) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IRAK-M Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IRAK-M can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). IRAK-M antibody can be used for detection of IRAK-M by Western blot at 1 mug/mL. A 68 kDa major band can be detected. IRAK-M antibody can also detect IRAK-M by immunohistochemistry at 2 mug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 10 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IRAK3 irak3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IRAK-M, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
